Basic behavior
- Special Layers: These layers cannot be deleted, and their order is fixed.
- Background: The background layer.
- Mask: This layer is used for masking out parts of the drawing. If you erase the mask, the masked portions of the drawing will reappear. When the Mask layer is selected for drawing, the default brush is used.
- Real World: This layer displays a still shot of the real-world scene. When the Pause button is pressed, the current camera stream stops, and a still shot is captured and sent to the Real World layer. The visibility of this layer can be controlled by the user only when the camera is streaming. Otherwise, its visibility is managed by the app.
- When the user returns to the canvas after turning on the Real World layer, the camera stream is automatically paused. To resume streaming, press the Play button.
- When the Export or Save menu options are selected, the camera stream is paused.
- Different iPad devices may have varying rotation settings. Therefore, the Flip option in the camera controls can be used to correct any incorrect rotation.
- Currently, only canvases with a 4:3 or 3:4 aspect ratio are supported.
